Bedtime Skin Care

  • A quick & easy bedtime skin care routine.

CLEANSE

Always go to bed with a clean face. It is important to remove makeup and follow up with a cleanser made for your skin type every night. Consider selecting products that address personal skin concerns (blemishes, dull skin, etc.) for best results.

HYDRATE

Quench your skin’s thirst by using a nightly moisturizer, and consider one with hyaluronic acid. Natural elements (UV light from sun, pollutants in the air, etc.) damage and can dry out your skin, and hyaluronic acid (also known as hyaluronan) can help improve the elasticity and the overall appearance of your skin.

EXFOLIATE

Use an exfoliant at least three times per week. Look for an exfoliant with biodegradable properties. Many companies have replaced small, plastic particles in exfoliants and skin care products with dissolvable, Earth-friendly solutions, but there are many harmful products still out there!). A good exfoliant will have you saying goodbye to dead skin, and hello to fresh, glowing skin, as skin cells renew overnight.
