Stay out past your bedtime with this starry night activity for kids, making a constellation at home.
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
Constellation printable (download below), Empty toilet roll tubes, glue stick, scissors, rubber bands, black tissue paper cut in 5″ squares, large pin or needle
DIRECTIONS:
1 Cut out your constellations outside the circular line on the printable.
2 Glue the cut-outs to the center of the tissue paper squares.
3 Place your paper onto a corkboard, right side up, and pierce each constellation hole (star) with your pin/needle.
4 Place the constellation pattern over your toilet roll tube, right side up, and fold over your pieces of tissue paper, securing them in place with a rubber band.
5 Turn off the lights and shine a small flashlight or use your phone flashlight and enjoy a view of the stars!
