Back to the Hot School of Romance

The days are growing cooler and the frantic pace of the waning summer is slowing down. The children are excited about new backpacks and big kid classrooms. You love your little ones, but the other part of your brain is elsewhere, on your other main concern at this point: getting back to your own teaching and learning, in the hot School of Romance.

The one thing that’s burned hotter as autumn approaches is your desire to spend grown up play time with your partner. The kids have been underfoot all summer and when your eyes meet your lovers’ you both send the same message, “Soon…”

By the time the first day of school rolls around, you’re wound up with the anticipation of resuming your unrestrained, lusty studies. Be patient, and don’t feel guilty about shipping the kids off so you can play around. They have to go to school, you know. And you have to reconnect with your partner.

Consider these tips:

Don’t make romantic plans for the first couple of days of school

The first two or three days of school can be fraught with mishaps ranging from forgotten lunches to missing school supplies. Sometimes, more serious things happen, such as a little one being so nervous in a new classroom that he or she becomes sick and has to go to the nurse’s office. Wait until the initial danger zone of the new school year has passed before you make your date with your honey, so you won’t be interrupted.

Save those vacation days

There will usually be extra vacation days left after you take your annual couple’s vacation and the family vacay for the year. Save them for the back to school season and make sure to schedule the days ahead of time so you’re sure to get them. Everybody with school aged kids is probably thinking the same thing you are, so get ahead of the game.

Start foreplay a week beforehand

Build the anticipation for your return to lessons by slowly seducing your partner up until the date. Just as you’ll be easing the kiddies into the back to school routine by reminding them of their upcoming schedules, you can do the same with your partner. Use a visible countdown on a calendar, and place naughty notes in his lunch bag during the days leading up to the date.
